Sometimes, a glamorous career conceals many of the most tragic stories. Lolo Jones, who won the USA and the World Olympic Games for the hurdle in 2013, reached this position by putting in a lot of determination and persistence. Jones is a child born to a motherless family with five children who lived in poverty and hardship when she was a kid, endured extremely difficult childhood. Jones' mother moved constantly and stayed for a while in the basement of the church. Jones had to be moved to a different school each year up until the time she graduated from high school because of this nomadic existence. Jones was able to move away from her mother to Theodore Roosevelt to enable her to concentrate on her track interest. The family she lived with was diverse throughout high school, so that she was able to concentrate on her studies.
