Meredith Salenger
Salenger lived and grew up in Malibu. Salenger enjoyed performing before her family and close friends in her early years. As young as eight, her mother brought her to her very first class in acting. In John Huston's film Annie, she played a small role in which she was classified as being a "singing and dance orphan". Salenger has also been featured in several commercials for television. The first time she was the main character on the Disney film The Journey of Natty Gann which starred John Cusack and Ray Wise which was the first US film to receive the golden award in the Moscow Film Festival. The film was named "Best Actress in Drama" in the Youth in Film Awards, because of her portrayal of the sexy Natty. She was also in four movies before turning the age of 18. One of the films was A Night in the Life of Jimmy Reardon. She then went to Harvard for a higher education.
