| Anna Paquin has been a New Zealand-Canadian television and film actress for more than 20 years. Her films include The PianoFly Away Homeand X-Men. The actress had no intention of become an actress but fate determined otherwise. After her breakthrough with her first film, she was offered numerous roles, which she turned down in order to concentrate on studying. Following a highly successful debut film when she was just 14, she was approached for roles in Jane Eyre as well as the Fly Away Homefilm series. In 2000 she played the strong mutant Roguein the XMen films series. The role she took upon landed her in the limelight.
